Privacy Policy

How CurvedTextMaker handles your data — short, plain English, no surprises.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information CurvedTextMaker (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you use curvedtextmaker.com (the “Site”), how that information is used, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

CurvedTextMaker is a client-side tool. The text you type, the paths you draw, and the images you upload into the editor are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers. We do not require an account, and we have no way to recover your designs if you close the tab without exporting them.

The only situation in which you voluntarily share information with us is when you email us at [email protected] — for example, to report a bug or request support. The contents of those emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve the conversation.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and advertising partners may automatically record:

  • Your IP address (used for routing, abuse prevention, and rough geographic location at the country/region level);
  • The type of device, browser, and operating system you use;
  • The page you came from and the page you visit next;
  • The date and time of your visit;
  • Anonymous usage aggregates (page views, clicks).

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small set of cookies and browser storage to keep the Site working and to serve ads:

  • Essential storage — for example, remembering your theme (light/dark) and your language preference. The Site does not work correctly without these.
  • Advertising cookies — set by Google and other ad partners (see Section 3) to display and measure ads, and to limit how often you see the same ad.
  • Analytics cookies — if we ever enable them, this section will be updated and consent will be requested where required by law.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Disabling advertising cookies will not break the tool itself.

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following third parties. Each one operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Google AdSense / DoubleClick. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
  • Cloudflare. Our Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which acts as our hosting and edge network. Cloudflare may process request metadata (such as IP addresses) for security, performance, and DDoS protection. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the URL of the requested font and standard request headers (including your IP address).

Not a list of every vendor. The list above covers the services that can access data when you browse the Site. If we add or change a vendor that materially affects your privacy, we’ll update this page.

4. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the editor;
  • To display relevant advertising that helps us keep the tool free;
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • To respond to your support emails and other communications;
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With our third-party service providers listed in Section 3, as needed to run the Site;
  • When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process;
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of the Site or our users;
  • In connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of all or part of our business (with notice where required).

6. Data retention

Server-side logs kept by our hosting and ad partners are retained according to their own policies (typically 30–90 days for ad-related logs; up to 13 months for some analytics-style aggregates). Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve the issue and respond to follow-ups.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or similar state laws. These rights may include:

  • Accessing or receiving a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Requesting that we correct or delete that information;
  • Opting out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for advertising purposes;
  • Withdrawing consent to processing that relies on consent;
  • Filing a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because we are an independent developer and the editor runs entirely in your browser, we typically hold very little personal information. To exercise any of the rights above, email [email protected] and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 30 days.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We do not allow personalized advertising to be served to users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland who identify as under 18, in line with Google’s policies on serving ads to teens.

9. International users

The Site is available globally. If you access it from outside the country where our hosting and ad partners operate, your information may be transferred to a country with different data-protection laws. By using the Site, you consent to those transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we’ll also note them on the Site or notify you where appropriate.
